Insist on it.Remember: Anyone can say they “have insurance.” Make them prove it to you by having them show you their actual policy. An ethical and professional contractor should not be offended by this request, and will not give you evasive answers or excuses. This is your property, and it is also good business practice. This protects you, as well as the roofing company itself.
